Mizzou remains undefeated heading into Braggin’ Rights

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

Cuonzo Martin and the Mizzou basketball team will host Illinois on Saturday, in the annual Braggin' Rights match.

It is the first time the game will not be held in St. Louis since 1979, due to COVID-19.

The Tigers come in undefeated, after a string of close matchups, including one top-25 victory.

Meanwhile, the Fighting Illini come in ranked No. 6 in the nation, with a recent win over Duke.

"Of course they are a talented team and when you have your core back, that helps," Martin said, "Some really good freshman pieces, really talented."
