Mark Smith shines in Mizzou’s season opener

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

The Mizzou basketball team claimed its first win of the season in a 91-64 win over Oral Roberts University.

Mark Smith finished the game with 18 points. The senior was out much of the previous season with a back injury.

The Tigers were a 14.5-point favorite in Wednesday's season opener, but finished with a 27-point advantage.
