Kansas City signs Le’veon Bell

KMIZ

KANSAS CITY, Mo (KMIZ)

Days after the New York Jets released Le'veon Bell, the Kansas City Chiefs signed him in for a one-year deal.

Bell took to Twitter to announce a switch in uniform.

He will be moving from a winless Jets team to the defending Super Bowl champions.

Before the signing was official on Thursday, Patrick Mahomes said he was prepared to welcome any player into the locker room, but Bell is a good pick.

"Obviously, a tremendous player, someone that can do it all: catch the ball, run the ball," Mahomes said.
