Mizzou vs. LSU: moved to Columbia due to Hurricane Delta

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

Mizzou and LSU made it official on Wednesday morning and decided to move Saturday's game to Faurot Field due to Hurricane Delta.

The game will start at 11 A.M. on ESPN and will be LSU's first appearance at Memorial Stadium.

SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey said the move was necessary for the safety all athletes and coaches.

"It was critical to relocate the game to an SEC campus where SEC COVID-19 management protocols are in place and readily applied.," he said. "I appreciate the cooperation of the schools who are working closely to make the appropriate operational adjustments in order to prioritize the health and safety of our student-athletes while accommodating this change in the schedule."

As for seats, Mizzou season ticket holders will have until Thursday at 2 P.M. to reserve spots. General admission tickets will go on sale Friday at 9 A.M.

Any of the tickets not reserved on Thursday will go on sale to the general public on Friday morning.
