Battle football schedules a new week seven opponent

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

After the cancelation of their original matchup, the Battle Spartans will now host the Smith-Cotton Tigers on Saturday, October 10 at noon.

Originally, Battle was supposed to host Rock Bridge on Friday night, however, school officials canceled the game due to COVID-19 concerns within the Rock Bridge community.

Smith-Cotton and Battle were originally supposed to meet on October 2, but that matchup was also canceled due to COVID-19.

You can watch the Spartans host the Tigers Saturday on KZOU.
