American Midwest Conference moves tournaments to spring

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

The American Midwest Conference (AMC) voted to move the men's and women's soccer and volleyball tournaments to the spring on Thursday.

For now, the cross country championship will stay on the schedule for November 6.

Columbia College and other member schools will continue to play in the all-conference season, but will only have until November 15 to make-up any rescheduled games.

The AMC said that if any games can not be made up by November 15, then they will be rescheduled for the spring, as well.

The conference will announce the new dates for the tournaments at a later date.
