Local soccer standout signs with professional team

Former Mizzou and Jefferson City soccer standout Sarah Luebbert signed to play for the Chicago Red Stars on Tuesday.

The Red Stars are a part of the National Women's Soccer League.

Luebbert led the Tigers in assists during her senior season. The First Team All-SEC forward was second in goals with eight last year. The former Lady Jays standout was also the SEC Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year.
