Mizzou football lands JUCO commitment

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team landed its 12th commitment in the 2021 class on Thursday afternoon.

On his 19th birthday, defensive end Shemar Pearl committed to play for the Tigers.

The Plano, Texas native was originally committed to MU out of high school, but he chose the JUCO route instead. Last season at Garden City Community College, Pearl had two sacks and six and half tackles for loss in 11 games.
