Mizzou running back plans to transfer

COLUMBIA, Mo. - A team spokesperson confirmed that running back Anthony Watkins will transfer away from the Mizzou football team.

Watkins played just one game for the Tigers as a Freshman against SEMO in 2019. He had six carries for 19 yards before redshirting the rest of the season.

The remaining running backs on the roster for Mizzou are Larry Rountree, Tyler Badie, Simi Bakare and Elijah Young on scholarship.
