Mizzou’s comeback comes up short against Ole Miss

OXFORD, MISS. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou basketball team's second half comeback came up short against Ole Miss on Wednesday night. The Tigers lost 75-67 to the Rebels.

Mizzou guard Xavier Pinson finished with a team-high 16 points. Jeremiah Tilmon had 12 points and seven rebounds.

MU trailed 49-40 at halftime, but the Tigers came back to tie the game at 53 with 12:52 to go in the game.

Ole Miss was too much down the stretch. Breein Tyree and Blake Hinson each scored 19 points for the Rebels.

MU is now 14-16 overall and 6-11 in SEC play.

Up next, MU will host Alabama for senior day at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. It's the Tigers final game of the regular season.
