Pinson’s career night propels Mizzou past Ole Miss

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou basketball team held to beat Ole Miss 71-68 on Tuesday night.

Xavier Pinson scored a career-high 32 points. He's now scored 60 points in his last two games combined.

Dru Smith finished with 17 points, five rebounds and four assists.

"We're playing good basketball, and I think there's still room to grow," head coach Cuonzo Martin said after the game.

The Tigers are now 13-13 overall and 5-8 in the SEC.

Up next - MU will play at Arkansas on Saturday at noon.
