Mizzou basketball drops road game to South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Mizzou basketball team fell back below .500 again after a, 76-54, loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks.

The Tigers are now 10-11 (2-6 SEC) and have lost five of their last six games.

Mark Smith and Jeremiah Tilmon both did not play due to injuries, and the Tigers certainly missed them again. Mizzou shot just 32.8 percent from the field and 21.1 percent from three. The Tigers also turned the ball over 17 times.

Mizzou next faces the Texas A&M Aggies on the road on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
