Mizzou defensive back enters transfer portal

COLUMBIA - A spokesperson for the Mizzou football team confirmed that corner Christian Holmes will transfer away from the team.

Now that Holmes is in the transfer portal, Holmes is free to speak with coaches from across the country.

Holmes played three seasons with the Tigers. In 35 games, Holmes 52 tackles, two interceptions and 19 passes broken up. Holmes split time with Jarvis Ware alongside DeMarkus Acy much of the 2019 season.

The Mississippi native is the first player to announce he is transferring since Eli Drinkwitz took the head coaching job with the Tigers.
