Mizzou comes out flat in loss to Mississippi State

STARKVILLE, MS (KMIZ)

The University of Missouri basketball team lost to Mississippi State 72-45 on Tuesday night. The Tigers are now 9-7 overall and 1-3 in the SEC.

The Bulldogs started the game on a 10-0 run, and MU could never recover. Reggie Perry led the way with 23 points.

Kobe Brown had a team-high 14 points for Mizzou. The Tigers finished with 19 turnovers. MU was 17-49 from the field.

Up next - the Tigers will play at Alabama on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
