Mizzou WBB comes up short against No. 21 Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, AR (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team came up short on the road against No. 21 Arkansas, 90-73 on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers got off to a hot start. They led the Hogs 22-14 after the first quarter. However, Arkansas came storming back to take a 34-30 lead at halftime.

Freshman Hayley Frank had a team-high 19 points on 8-12 shooting. The Springfield, Mo. native also had five rebounds. Freshman Aijha Blackwell finished with 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

Mizzou is now 4-13 overall and 1-3 in the SEC. Up next - MU will host No. 4 South Carolina on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
