Mizzou WBB comes up short against North Carolina in Cancun

CANCUN, Mexico

The Mizzou women's basketball team lost to North Carolina, 82-69, on Friday night in the Cancun Challenge.

Senior Amber Smith finished the game with a team-high 16 points. Freshman Aijha Blackwell had 14 points and six rebounds off the bench. Freshman Hayley Frank had another strong outing as well. The Springfield native had 13 points and six rebounds.

The Tigers went 0-2 at the Cancun Challenge. They are now 2-6 on the season. Up next - MU will host Saint Louis on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m.
