QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should women be held criminally liable for abortions?

A southwest Missouri lawmaker has filed a bill for the upcoming session that would see women charged with murder for abortions.

The session begins in January and abortion is likely to be a big issue after it was effectively outlawed in Missouri. A bill filed by Rep. Bob Titus (R-Billings) would allow a first-degree murder charge against the mother in an abortion case. First-degree murder is a capital offense.
