QUESTION OF THE DAY: Is the state doing enough to raise teacher pay?

Teachers rallied Tuesday at the Missouri Capitol to tell officials and lawmakers about their priorities.

Chief among them is a boost in pay to help retain and recruit teachers.

Gov, Mike Parson has for the second year in a row proposed a one-year boost to make the pay floor $38,000. Many educators and lawmakers want the minimum raised in state law from the current $25,000.

Do you think the state is doing enough to boost teacher pay? Vote in the poll.
