Gov. Mike Parson has made raising pay for Missouri state workers a priority for the current legislative session.

Parson wants a 5.5% cost of living increase and to raise the minimum pay for state workers to $15 per hour. However, some Republican lawmakers have expressed worries about how to pay for the raises in future budget years.
