The Republican majority in the Missouri House has voted not to expand Medicaid.

Voters last year approved a measure to expand Medicaid's health-care coverage to low-income, working adults. The action in the House has drawn criticism that lawmakers are opposing the voters' will.

  1. Democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding the lunch menu. The 51% demanding agreement from the 49%. At what point in time did people in large crowds suddenly become wise, instead of stupid or insane as they historically are?
