QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should the U.S. use pressure against Zelensky to help bring peace in Ukraine?
The American relationship with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has taken a turn.
President Donald Trump last week labeled Zelensky an unelected dictator and accused him of not taking actions that could have avoided the war in Ukraine. It's a sharp turn from the way the previous administration dealt with Ukraine after Russia invaded in 2022.
On Sunday, Zelensky said he would resign if it brought peace.
Trump has promised to bring an end to the ongoing war as Ukraine continues its effort to repel Russia from its territory. Zelensky has hesitated to commit to a deal that would give up Ukrainian territory in exchange for a ceasefire.
Should pressure on Zelensky be part of the U.S. peace strategy in Ukraine? Let us know by voting in the poll.
