QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should Pete Hegseth drop his bid for defense secretary?
President-elect Donald Trump's pick for defense secretary -- Pete Hegseth -- is under increasing pressure to drop out this week.
The Associated Press reported Wednesday that Trump is considering Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for the Pentagon's top job after an avalanche of negative press about Hegseth. Allegations against Hegseth, a Fox News host, include sexual misconduct, financial mismanagement at a charity and drinking on the job.
Some Republican senators have expressed reservations about Hegseth, in part because of his stance on women in combat roles.
