QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should Missouri phase out income taxes?

The three major Republican candidates for Missouri governor agree on income taxes -- they should be eliminated.

The Missouri Independent reported Tuesday that Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft plans to start the state on a path toward getting rid of income tax if elected governor. State Sen. Bill Eigel and Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe -- both candidates for governor -- said they also want to get rid of income taxes.
