QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should Congress ban TikTok?
The House of Representatives is expected to vote this week on a bill that would ban TikTok in the U.S. unless it sells to a domestic owner.
Many critics say the bill is effectively a ban, given the relatively short time frame it provides for a sale.
The reason TikTok is an issue -- there are worries that China's leaders could use its data for nefarious purposes. No evidence of that has been presented publicly but members of Congress have received closed-door briefings.
