QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should Missouri students be allowed to change schools?

The Missouri House has passed its first bill of the legislative session.

Lawmakers said education would be a priority, and the first bill would allow parents to remove students from their public school districts to go to a neighboring school.

The bill's supporters say parents should have the choice for their children to go to a district that better fits their needs. But critics worry it could cause a funding crisis for education statewide.
