The long-used abortion drug mifepristone came under fresh legal scrutiny after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and the right to an abortion.
That culminated in August with an appeals court ruling that stopped the drug's distribution by mail. However, the Supreme Court said Wednesday that its nine justices will take up the Biden administration's appeal of the decision.
