WATCH: State Rep. Walsh praises Rush Limbaugh Day on House floor
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
State Rep. Sara Walsh, R-Ashland, took to the House floor Thursday to praise Rush Limbaugh as the chamber voted on creating a day in his honor.
The provision, which was tacked onto another bill, would make Jan. 12, the late conservative talk show host's birthday, Rush Limbaugh Day. The proposal has drawn sharp criticism from those who say Limbaugh was a divisive figure who used extreme rhetoric.
