Jefferson City Transportation Committee recommends safety improvements near Moreau Heights Elementary

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ) The Jefferson City Transportation Committee recommended safety improvements to slow down vehicles near Moreau Heights Elementary School on Friday. The decision follows a December 2024 study that identified a speeding problem occurring throughout the day. About 150 students walk to and from school in the area where the study was conducted.

MU Faculty Council approves AI use scale policy

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) The University of Missouri Faculty Council voted to approve an artificial intelligence use scale policy. According to council documents, MU educators are responsible for labeling graded assignments and assessments on a level from zero to three.
