After morning storms the atmosphere will have poor support for any further convection in central Missouri. Storms fire up just south of our area this afternoon from a boundary lingering around I-44.
TIMING
Conditions remain clear through noon today before storms flare up along a boundary midafternoon. The severe threat is already focused southeast of Mid-MO and will shift further out as the day comes to an end. Rain and clouds clear out in time for Memorial Day tomorrow.
IMPACTS

Storms that form in southern Missouri will be capable of all severe hazards but this threat is low for our area. Flooding is still a lingering possibility for much of the region after several rounds of recent rain.
