Windy Weather Alert Day

TODAY: Temperatures will warm into the lower 20s, but a wind chill factor will make it feel as if the temperature were near zero. A few clouds are possible, otherwise, we will remain sunny.

TONIGHT: Frigid conditions continue with sustained winds overnight. Lows will be near single digits.

EXTENDED: Even colder air is set to build in Sunday night into Monday morning. Wind chills between -5 and -15º Monday morning are a large concern across the area. If there is enough available moisture during the day on Monday, snow showers may occur. Widespread accumulation isn't expected at this time. A slow warm-up during the week is expected.
