SEVERE WEATHER UPDATES: Outages reported across mid-Missouri, trees down block road in Columbia

A storm coming through mid-Missouri has caused several power outages and blown over trees have blocked a road in Columbia.

According to the Boone County Joint Communications, drivers should choose an alternate route on Rock Quarry Rd between Grindstone and Stadium closed due to several trees down in the road.

Boone County Joint Communications is also reporting a power outage affecting several traffic signals on E Broadway from Broadway Bluffs to Hwy 63.

Boone County Joint Communications is reporting a wreck at Broadway and Fifth St. Police are currently directing traffic.

Columbia Water and Light is reporting 67 customers currently without power.

Ameren in Cooper County is reporting 521 customers currently without power.

Boone Electric Coop is reporting 227 customers without power.

Ameren is reporting 15 customers currently without power in Jefferson City.
