Delays expected on Missouri River Bridge in Jefferson City during final phase of bridge rehab project

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Delays are expected for those driving into Jefferson City on Highway 54 during the final phase of a bridge rehab project, a Wednesday Missouri Department of Transportation press release says.

Delays can be attributed to the bridge rehabilitation over Highway 50 and McCarty Street, the release says. Those delays are expected to occur through October, the release says.

Ramp closures going into effect Thursday evening are:

  • Eastbound Highway 54 ramp to Highway 50.
  • Missouri Boulevard ramp to eastbound Highway 54 (currently closed and will remain closed through the end of construction).
  • Westbound Highway 54 to West Main Street.
