Sign installations on I-70 in Cooper County to cause lane closures next week

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Westbound Interstate 70 in Cooper County will be down to one lane between mile markers 91 and 104 beginning 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, according to a press release from the Missouri Department of Transportation.

The closures will end 6 a.m. the next day, according to the release. The lane closures will occur so MoDOT crews can install new signs, the release states.

MoDOT contracted James H. Drew Corporation for $293,700.27 to complete this work and dozens of other new signs along Interstates 70 and 44, the release states,
