Truman Boulevard overpass in Jefferson City to close for 10 days in October

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Truman Boulevard overpass that goes over Highway 50 in Jefferson City will close for 10 days next month, according to a press release from the Missouri Department of Transportation.

The bridge will close at 1 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9 for a bridge rehabilitation project. The project includes replacing the expansion joints, repairing the concrete and applying a protective coating, according to the press release.

MoDOT said in the release that some work may begin in late September, but traffic will not be impacted until Oct. 9.
