MoDOT announces resurfacing project starts next week on Route K

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri Department of Transportation announced in a Friday press release that a resurfacing project will begin next week in Boone County.

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded a $1,927,436.59 contract for Routes AB, H and K to be resurfaced. Route K will be resurfaced from Tuesday through Friday, Sept. 22. The resurfaced area will be from Highway 163 “to the end of state maintenance,” the release states.

One lane will remain open during the resurfacing on all routes, according to the release. Route H will be resurfaced from Oct. 2-9 and Route AB will be resurfaced from Oct. 10-17.
