East Walnut Street closure in Columbia moved to Thursday and Friday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A street closure on East Walnut Street that was announced last week has been moved to Thursday and Friday, according to a press release from the City of Columbia Public Works.

East Walnut Street will be closed Thursday and Friday between North College Avenue and Old Highway 63 North in order for contractors to lay asphalt.

North William Street and Ripley Street will remain open to both northbound and southbound traffic, according to the release.

The closure was originally set for Tuesday through Thursday, but was changed due to impending weather.
