Bonne Femme Creek Bridge to be closed for repairs, starting Monday
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Missouri Department of Transportation will close Highway 163 at the Bonne Femme Creek Bridge on Monday in order to replace the bridge.
The bridge was built in 1958 and is in poor condition, according to a press release.
The bridge replacement is scheduled to be completed on or before Aug. 4.
During the project, traffic will be directed around the closure on a signed detour over Route 163 (Providence Road), Route AC (Grindstone Parkway) and Highway 63.
ALERT: Boone County Route 163 will CLOSE on April 10, just west of U.S. Route 63 at the Bonne Femme Creek Bridge, for a bridge replacement project. The bridge is expected to remain closed through Aug. 4, 2023.
