JC Public Works announces more street closures

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Jefferson City Department of Public Works announced in a pair of late Thursday press releases that a a few road closures that will start Monday.

The intersection of Schroeder Way and Mulberry at 7 a.m. Monday. Work is expected to be completed Friday, March 31.

Adams Street will also be closed Monday between Hickory and East Ashley streets as part of the City’s Adams Street Sidewalks 2022 Project, a press release stated. That section of Adams Street is expected to be completed by Friday, March 24.

The closures are in addition to the closure on Commercial Way between Madison and Monroe streets that was announced this week.

The closure will begin 8 a.m. Monday and is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Friday, March 17.

Commercial Way will open up at 5 p.m. each evening, and will close again at 8 a.m. the following morning.
