Boone Electric announces temporary I-70 closure

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Boone Electric Cooperative announced in a Wednesday press release that it is temporarily closing a stretch of Interstate 70 on Tuesday night.

 It will be removing a three-phase line that stretches across Interstate 70 near the Perche Creek Bridge and west of the Sorrels Overpass at mile marker 122 on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

Traffic will be shut down for about 10 minutes in both directions at 10 p.m. Crews will be on-site for around 30 minutes
