Lane shifts and lane closure on Business Loop 70 West in Columbia to take place Nov. 8-11

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Ace Pipe Cleaning will be begin maintenance on sewer pipes under Business Loop 70 West starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Lane shifts will take place, utilizing the center turn lane of the section of Business Loop 70 West near Cosmo Park. Traffic on this section of Business Loop 70 West -- between North Stadium Boulevard and the roundabout west of Interstate 70 near Memorial Park Cemetery -- will remain open in both directions.

A lane closure will be required on the right eastbound lane of Business Loop 70 West between West Sexton Road and Madison Street. Eastbound traffic along an approximately 80- foot stretch will be reduced to one lane while the sewer work is being conducted.

The work is expected to be completed by 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, weather permitting.
