COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Drivers in Columbia are asked to be cautious of runners on Sunday near Perry Phillips Lake Park.

The Show-Me State Games road race and walk is on Sunday morning.

The race will begin near Park Restaurant at 4380 Nocona Parkway.

The route will use Kentsfield Lane and Ponderosa Street including the roundabout while the roads remain open to traffic.

Part of the course will utilize the Philips Lake Trail, a gravel trail.

Anyone in the area is being asked to watch for any runners and walkers from 7:30 Sunday morning until noon.
