MoDOT to begin improvements on Interstate 70 Wednesday night in Callaway County

MGN Online

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri Department of Transportation contractors will be making pavement upgrades along Interstate 70 in Callaway County over the next several months beginning Wednesday.

Crews will begin with eastbound lanes going from the Boone/Callaway County line and to Kingdom City.

The overall project will include resurfacing the lanes and ramps between Kingdom City and the Callaway/Boone County line. Crews will also upgrade the guardrails along the same stretch.

Crews will work mostly overnight and result in periodic eastbound and westbound lane closures during the night.

The project is scheduled to be completed in November.

Work is weather permitting and could be delayed.
