MoDOT releases 2022 Chouteau Creek Bridge rehabilitation project details

COOPER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking comments from travelers and residents on the rehabilitations of the Interstate 70 bridges over Chouteau Creek, located west of Boonville.

Officails say the now 20-year-old bridges have reached the point where rehabilitation is necessary to extend the life and usability of the bridges.

Crews will close lanes at different times in both directions of I-70 during the bridge construction.

MoDOT says specific lane closure information will be announced through signs, media releases and social media when a timeline for the project has been established.
