Finishing guardrail work on Callaway County Route D to impact I-70 traffic

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The new Callaway County Route D bridge over Interstate 70 is now open to traffic, crews will be finishing up guardrail work this week that will cause lane closures along I-70.

The installation completion will begin Wednesday and there will be westbound and eastbound lane closures on I-70 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Wednesday through Friday.

There will be signs in place to alert motorists of the lane closures. Drivers are asked to plan extra travel time, slow down, watch for crews and pay attention in work zones.
