Bridge now open at Smith Branch on Missouri Route 161 in Montgomery County

MACON, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri Route 161 in Montgomery County is now back open to traffic at Smith Branch, located 3.4 miles south of Missouri Route 19 near Danville.
The road was closed on July 27 for a bridge replacement. The new bridge is 28 feet wide, which is 8 feet wider than the old bridge.

This bridge was included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
