Lane closure and traffic restrictions at West Boulevard and West Broadway for water valve replacement

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

City of Columbia Water & Light will be replacing a main line water valve at the intersection of West Broadway and West Boulevard on Friday, Oct. 2, beginning at 6 a.m.

The emergency water valve replacement is on an existing 8" water main. There will be a traffic lane closure on southbound West Boulevard at West Broadway which may cause some traffic delays.

Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians should use caution in and around the work area.

Customers will be individually notified of any water service disruptions during this project.
