MoDOT: Possible delays across central Missouri due to construction projects

MoDOT is preparing drivers about possible delays and alternate routes next week due to construction.

Culvert Pipe Replacement to Impact Callaway County Intersection

Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation will replace a culvert pipe at the intersection of Callaway County Route J and County Road 252 next week.

One lane of Route J will be closed south of Interstate 70 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. County Road 252 will be completely closed west of the intersection while the work takes place.

Culvert Pipe Replacement to Impact Travel on Route 40 in Howard County

The replacement of a culvert pipes will occasionally close one lane of U.S. Route 40 in Howard County next week.

The work will take place between County Road 435 and County Road 437 Monday, September 21 through Friday, September 25. Individual lane closures will be required between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day.

Concrete Repair to Close One Lane of Route 54 in Callaway County

Missouri Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be making driving surface improvements next week along U.S. Route 54 in Callaway County.

Concrete repair will take place in the eastbound lanes between Route J and the Hillers Creek Bridge, east of New Bloomfield. One lane will be closed in the work area between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Route E to Close for Culvert Pipe Replacement

Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation will replace a culvert pipe on Howard County Route E between Route HH and County Road 304A next week.

Route E will be closed in both directions on Wednesday, September 23 from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Drivers are advised to watch for workers on the road, avoid distractions and obey all traffic signs.
