COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The intersection of Business Loop 70 and North Garth Avenue in Columbia was shut down on Monday evening after a crash.

Boone County Joint Communications reported the crash at 6:42 p.m. and sent a follow-up notification at 6:51 p.m. stating that all lanes were closed.

An ABC 17 News photographer saw two damaged vehicles when he arrived at 7:06 p.m. Both vehicles appeared to have front-end damage. Tow trucks were on the scene when ABC 17 News arrived. The scene cleared at 7:15 p.m.

Two Columbia Police Department vehicles and a Columbia firetruck were on the scene. ABC 17 News has reached out to both agencies.
