Westbound lanes of I-70 shut down in Columbia after truck flips

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KIMIZ)

The westbound lanes of Interstate 70 near the Route Z exit in Boone County were shut down on Wednesday evening after a truck flipped during a crash

Boone County Joint Communications sent a notification at 6:45 p.m. stating that a crash in the westbound lanes occurred near mile marker 133, between north Route Z and the county line with Callaway County.

An ABC 17 News engineer at the scene saw two people get of out the pickup truck.

The truck was seen upside down with debris near it in the westbound lanes.
