Man seriously injured in Boone County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 59-year-old Clark man was seriously injured Tuesday in a crash in northern Boone County, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to the report, the single-vehicle crash occurred on Route NN, east of North Barber Road. The report says the man drove a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee westbound when it went off the right side of the road and hit a small grove of trees and a culvert. The vehicle stopped in a ditch.

The man had serious injuries and was brought to University Hospital by ambulance, the report says. He was wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle was totaled, according to the report.
